Star Trek is probably the significant sci-fi series ever created. Most of us grew up with this series and with the various of films that followed it.
The series had a very large social impact. For example: Not many knows, but the kiss between captain Kirk and lieutenant O'Hara was the first kiss between a white guy black girl on television.
One of the funny interesting things in the series are the starfleet uniform and in particular - the women uniforms . According to the series, the starfleet uniforms of the women in the future will include a ultra short mini dress and boots.
The question is - what were the creators of the series tought when they decided about these uniforms? The uniform are supposed to be kind of a practical clothing - What is logic to dress the women with mini dress? Could it be that the creators of the series saw lieutenant O'Hara as some kind of a secretary? Or maybe the makers of the series were just a bunch of horny guys...
