I always claim that sexy clothing doesn't necessary means uncomfortable clothing. Floral sneakers is a great example. The presents of the flower prints over sneakers gives them a girly look which is very sexy.

When when think about Crocs shoes we usually think about some ugly shoes that their positive side is that they are very comfortable to wear. In the last years Crocs is trying to come up with some new stylish designs for their shoes and at least once they really succeeded: Alice Crocs are some sort of Mary Jane shoes that are both feminine and comfortable.

Ballet shoes fetish

One of the things that surprise me time after time is the fact that in our world which is filled with various fetish footwear including high heel boot, thigh high boots, platform heel, stilettos, patent shoes,  leather, latex and mores - surprisingly I find the classic ballet shoes as sexy as all the other, if not more. This is more surprising if you think about the fact that while one of the key element of all sexy footwear is the high heels - ballet shoes are flat. After explaining the advantages of high heels, how come that a flat shoe can bypass the high heeled shoes?

I'm not sure that I have the answer to this question, but I have several theories:

1. Delicacy - This shoe is very thin, delicate and flexible - in many ways these elements are very feminine.

2. Juvenility -  While high heels are usually worn by mature women, ballet slippers are usually worn by much younger girls . So when a woman is wearing a ballet slipper, she seems  younger and therefore more vibrant. 

3. Lack of effort - one of the elusive sexy element is to be look attractive without any effort. When a woman in wearing high heels, she certainly has invested some effort in her appearance, while a woman who is wearing flat shoes that invested less effort in looks.

4. The ballet itself - naturally, ballet shoes remind me of the ballet itself, and as I wrote before, there are many sexy elements in ballet.

What's the difference between doll shoes, ballerina shoes and flat pumps? The surprising answer to this question is that all three the same shoes - the only difference is the name.

Doll shoes have one major drawback - the structure of them is such that leaves the ankle area exposed and attracts unwanted attention to it. As I have mentioned before emphasizing the ankle is not recommend and should be avoided as much as possible. I have mentioned before that sometimes we can find sexy cloths that are very comfortable, and the yoga pants are another perfect  examples. Yoga pants are leggings usually made out of spandex, but in contrast to regular leggings they have flare bell bottom legs. This is the perfect combination between the sexy effect of the skintight leggings and the smooth concealing of the ankle.

Who said that sexy cloths can't be comfortable?

Okay. It's true: in 99% the cases you have to make a choice between sexy and comfortable. in most cases sexy cloths require some type of ... adaptation. It's relevant for high heels, skin tight cloths, latex, corset etc. 

But there are also cases in witch clothing can be both beautiful and comfortable. Long gaucho pants are great

example. These wide trousers are made out of thin cotton that flows in a way that it's blurring the ankle. While these pants gives a very romantic look and even a bit sexy, they are very loss which makes them very comfortable.

All that's left to hope that this trend will come back into fashion.
