At the movie "Pretty Woman" from 1990 Julia Roberts plays a sexy prostitute that enter into a love story with a decent businessman (Richard Gere). At this movie Roberts wore thigh high boot with high heels that represented the promiscuous look the whore that she played. At that time, these  boots were considered to be very bold, and  anyone who dared to wear had to fear of been considered a whore. In the last years the fashion tend to offer more provocative design and so thigh high  boots are becoming more and more accepted.

It's a well known fact that high heel boots are very sexy, but what is the secret of the thigh high boots? Why when the boots end over the knee it is more sexy than id it ends under it? I think that the answer is that the effect of leaving a small area of the thighs exposed  while the rest of the leg is hidden  is a very sexy effect. Sometime more covering is more sexy.
